Ants are ranked #1 in the structural pest control marketplace. Carpenter Ants cause damage to structures by using their large (jaws) mandibles to create nesting places in wood. Large colonies of Carpenter Ants will create a sound similar to putting rice crispies in milk. The large piles of (saw dust) frass they leave behind, cause many property owners to panic. New technologies in ant control are moving away from short term repellents that break down quickly in the exterior elements and lock in pests post treatment, in favor of long lasting transfer effect materials which are circulated through colonies of ants by their own foraging workers. The new materials applied go undetected by working foraging ants thus providing a phantom punch to the colony followed by complete elimination.
Carpenter Ant treatment requires a professional approach to insure control of the main colony and the satellite colonies in a structure. The Micro-Injector System allows treatment of areas we could never treat before. The Micro-Injector is a stainless steel electrical unit which pumps air under pressure. Our technical staff will plug in the unit to treat large sections of wall voids, soffits, voids behind vinyl and aluminum siding. The Micro-Injector has a trigger wand for precise volume control and application of the low grade liquid material into the air stream. Our philosophy on Carpenter Ant Control is to put the treatment in voids where ants nest, rather than along the interior walls and floors where you live. We also incorporate the use of granular and water-based microencapsulated low grade time release materials to knock down ant populations in and around structures.
Integrated Growth Regulators (I.G.R.s) affect cockroaches very differently than conventional pesticides. I.G.R.s do not kill adult cockroaches, they affect the early instar (babies) by causing deformities in reproduction and curled wings on their backs. I.G.Rs will affect the second generation of cockroaches which usually re-infest an area after the adults are all knocked down. Contact insecticides , which kill the adults, are used in conjunction with I.G.R.s and represent the second phase of our one-two punch program. Contact insecticides are delivered in our microinjection air stream units to flush and penetrate behind cabinetry and roach nests. Click here to view our Insect Bait Technology Program.
We deploy our Advanced Rodent Control Technology program, the industry's newest and most advanced program for rodent control.
